Coaching
setup
Throughout
the season, training is very much skill-based, taken by the club
coach and all new comers are welcome. Training sessions with our
specialist forwards and backs coaches are also arranged throughout
the season to compliment our own coaching team. Having a number
of coaches at each training session allows the players to split
into groups to work on specific areas of their game. Kingston have
a flood lit training pitch and the clubhouse is open, both for showers
and after drinks in the club bar.
This
will be the second season for Phil as head coach of Kingston RFC.
The club finished third in the league, the highest position for
some years.

Paul
Hodgson
Guest backs coach
Paul joined London Irish in July 2004 from Bristol Shoguns. He has
represented England at U18s and U21s level as well as playing or
England 7s in the IRB World Sevens series. The Epsom born, 25 year
old scrum-half made quite an impact in his 26 appearances for the
Exiles in last season's Premiership and European campaigns. He is
a loquacious, quick-witted half back with the speed and power to
cause opposing defenders problems.
Paul
is down at Kingston every Tuesday & Thursday.
